How to add headphones to Panasonic Viera plasma?

I have a Panasonic Viera TC-P42U1 with no connection to headphone. How do I add with a RCA (Audio red/white)-to-2.5 Headphone Jack and no amp or wireless headphone? Is it possible?

The RCA stereo audio outputs are intended to be run to some kind of amplifier. Simply getting a 2RCA-to-TRS adapter and plugging in headphones will most likely blow your headphones and could damage the audio amplifier in the TV.
